What did our beloved Claret and Cobalt do the evening of March, 10th? They did what they trained for. They did what they most wanted. They did what they are capable of. They “came to score” (The Aggrolites).
—El Güero,
Once again, here is the Power Rankings overview from Kreg Asay. Again, it all rather saddens me, but what can you do? The season's nearing an end and everything's sort of locking into place. Will there be major changes before then? Stay tuned...
Due to the FIFA break last week several of the sites did not do Power Rankings, thus I gave it a week off as well. Results are still included in the week 26 averages.

Eight teams remained static in the rankings between week 24 and 26; San Jose received a unanimous ranking all 3 weeks. There were 2 ties in week 25, DC / Montreal at 10th place with a 10.8 ave., and Chivas / Toronto in 18th with an average of 18.2 points; and one tie for week 26, NE / Chivas at 17th with an average of 16.13 points.

2 positions = CUSA, CC, DCU, HD, MI, KC
1 position = RSL, TFC
0 positions = SJ
Site Consistency (in descending order best/worst for week 26):
This depends on how drastic changes are for a ranking between week. Simply put, if a team drops more than 3 places in a ranking there better be an extremely good reason for it.

There was one position changes on the table, Kansas City took over the second position from RSL this week.
Both Portland and KC moved the least at .02 points. Vancouver dropped the most -.19 points, and LA rising the most at .16 points. The smallest gap in the season average is .02 separating VWc / CF. The widest gulf lies between LA and Columbus at 2.95; four other gaps of over 1 point also exist.
Firsts and Lasts:
*RSL held the top spot on the season table for a total of 21 weeks (1 tied with SKC). SKC held #1 for 3 weeks (1 tied with RSL), and SJ for 3 weeks.
*Toronto has been in 19th place for 19 weeks, with Montreal at 7 weeks.
Forecast:
The gap between Seattle and NY stands at .19 points. Very little change from Week 24. If the Sounders drop any game in a week that the Bulls win it will likely mean a position change.
Chicago will take over 8th from Vancouver next week, and LA is likely to take over 9th from Vancouver the week after that. The Galaxy will close on Chicago and will take the 8th place before the season end, but will rise no higher than 8th in the Season rankings.
Dallas will overtake Colorado within the next 2 weeks, but won't make up the distance to the Crew.
