How does that song about changes go? Ah, no matter. We saw plenty of them last night — including, surprisingly, a change to our formation in a 0-0 draw to the Philadelphia Union. We may have been perhaps a bit lucky — or skillful, maybe…
Such were our dire straits in the last few weeks that a 1-0 win would have been a massive improvement in form. That our 2-0 win last night in the CONCACAF Champions League was celebrated as heavily as it was is no surprise. It was, barring…
Do you know that feeling when you're trying to finish a puzzle and you've got a handful of pieces left, a handful of holes left, and you just can't make it all fit? That's last night. That's this season. Last night, we saw one of the most…

Where did our love go? More acutely, where did our team go? Last night was bad. Bad enough to be the worst loss we've suffered under Jason Kreis. 5-0. More than just not a pretty loss, it was a shocking indictment of our side. We were…
After 45 minutes, I saw flashbacks. Not intensive ones, mind, but some light ones that made me think "Oh, no. It's Wednesday again." Of course, it wasn't Wednesday, and in the end, it turned out nothing like it. Which was good, you know,…
