What did our beloved Claret and Cobalt do the evening of March, 10th? They did what they trained for. They did what they most wanted. They did what they are capable of. They “came to score” (The Aggrolites).
—El Güero,
Just a short one today, but we've got some updates on player health that are quite scintillating, so it's worth a go around the ol' race track that is Under the Crossbar, which is neither a race track nor particularly old.
One Mr. Luis Gil is apparently having something 'taken care of' — oh, the wonders of Twitter — that required X-rays. I don't know quite what he's having done, but it doesn't sound terrible. But, if we're to read into a bit, which, mind you, might be entirely unnecessary and irrelevant, we can imagine that one Javier Morales is closer to fitness than perhaps was earlier thought, so Mr. Gil has been told to have this surgery now rather than later. Whether that assumption is or is not correct, I don't really know. Tweets below.
Waiting at doctors office sucks #xrays take forever

We've also got stellar news from that lovable Will Johnson fellow, whose surgery in Germany appears to have gone wholly to plan. Having him back for the home opener could be massive, and you know? The clouds are parting and Will's standing there in a beam of sunlight, the angelic chorus is going full-force, and the heavens are aglow.
Heading out for a night out in Munich, doctors orders. Possibility of being ready for the 17th! #RSL

Or, you know, something. Can't wait to have him back.
Right, like I said, a short one today. 'Til tomorrow, when I'll start my final season preview. Saturday can't come soon enough.
